P&O Ferries were runners up for best cross-channel ferry operator at the Telegraph Travel Awards 2014.
Around 90,000 people voted in the newspaper’s poll to determine the best travel services, including best rail operator, short-haul airline and long-haul airline.
Once the results were in, businesses and guests arrived at the Banking Hall in London for the Telegraph Travel Awards 2014.
Sean Lock, an actor and comedian, presented the awards and Group Head of Travel, Charles Starmer-Smith opened the ceremony.
P&O Ferries was named 1st runner-up in the best cross-channel ferry operator, just missing the top spot which was awarded to Brittany Ferries.
The ferry operator was recognised for its service from Dover to Calais, as well as its other routes which travel from Hull to Zeebrugge and Hull to Rotterdam.
