Delays for P&O Ferries due to poor weather

P&O Ferries are experiencing delays at the Port of Dover due to adverse weather conditions, which is spreading across the UK. 

Passengers could be waiting for 30 minutes longer than usual on Tuesday 13 January 2015, with one service heading for Calais cancelled because of poor weather conditions. 

On the P&O Ferries’ Twitter account they said: “Due to adverse weather conditions some Dover/Calais services are running with a delay of up to 40 mins..”

The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for the majority of the UK, as heavy rain, sleet and snow is expected in the evening on Tuesday 13 2015 onwards. 

As well as ferry disruptions, trains and flight may also experience severe delays. 

Passengers are advised to take extra when travelling and to keep up to date with the latest travel information and weather forecasts.
