Boyzlife to perform on P&O cruise
Irish duo Boyzlife are set to embark upon a short residency on-board P&O’s Britannia cruise ship this coming summer.
Formed at the tail end of last year by Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian McFadden, the duo will be performing every night in Britannia’s Limelight Club from the 12th to the 16th August during a 14-night cruise around Spain, France and Italy.
“At P&O Cruises we are constantly looking at new ways in which we can enhance the experience of our guests,” said Paul Ludlow P&O Cruises, senior vice president.
“Our guests already enjoy world-class entertainment on board all our ships but I believe they will be especially excited to see such a high-profile act as Boyzlife in the intimate setting of Britannia’s Limelight Club.”
Their repertoire will consist of a huge selection of hits from both bands extensive back catalogues including fan favourites like “No Matter What” and “Flying Without Wings.”
“We are very excited to be taking our sell-out tour to sea and entertaining Britannia’s guests with music and stories from life on the road with our respective bands,” said Keith Duffy. “After 20 years on the road, we’ve grown up and it’s great to be able to look back, reminisce and give our fans the inside track story of how we felt at the time.”
Formed way back in 1994 and 1998 respectively, both Boyzone and Westlife have enjoyed an immense level of success in the UK and throughout the rest of the world collectively scoring 20 number one singles in the UK.
Prices for the cruise start from £1,299 per person whilst the show itself will cost £49 a ticket.
